Artsplay Highland has delivered training and educational workshops and interactive projects in Inverness, the Highlands and beyond, since June 2003.
Originally constituted by the group of artists from the HI-Arts Artsplay project, Artsplay Highland has focused its work on children in their early years. We work directly with children in toddler groups, nurseries, and early years school children. The groups have regular music sessions, sprinkled with guest artists. The children put on performances and exhibitions at the end of each project. Some of our delivery is online in both live sessions, and on our Youtube channel. We always invite highly trained professional music specialists and guest artists onto our projects, who work well with young children - a special skill in itself! We deliver training to parents, carers and staff and invite groups to contact us about providing training and music and arts sessions in your setting.
